Histograms and why you cant live without them

Histograms are basically tonal representations of your images. The tones/brightness are ranged from black to white. The left side of a histogram shows the darkness and the right represents brightness, their is also a middle section which shows the inbetween. You really cant live without histograms because every image you take has its dark and bright tones. So next time you go and take pictures look and try to figure out the tone on it the histogram of it .
